The Charlottetown Islanders have acquired forward Oliver Cooper from the Saint John Sea Dogs.
In return, the Islanders end their 15th overall pick in this year's draft (originally belonging to Blainville-Boisbriand) and a first-round pick in 2016 to Saint John.
Cooper, who was drafted 19th overall in the second round by Saint John in 2011, led a young Sea Dogs team in scoring this past season with 28 goals and 57 points in 68 games.
The Fredericton, N.B. native was a member of the Sea Dogs when they won the President Cup in 2012.
The trade became official today.
