Charlottetown Islanders forward Filip Chlapik will be returning to the Islanders.
The 17-year-old was cut from the Czech Republic's national junior team today.

Chlapik leads the Islanders in scoring with 16 goals and 40 points in 32 games this season. It is going to be huge relief for the Islanders to have its leading scorer back. Fellow QMJHLer Jakub Zboril of the Saint John Sea Dogs was also cut.
It is unknown at this time if Chlapik will be in the line-up on Thursday against Halifax.
