According to Stephane Leroux, Charlottetown Islanders forward Alexandre Goulet has been invited to the Montreal Canadiens development camp.
The 18-year-old forward went undrafted this weekend at the 2014 NHL Entry Draft in Philadelphia, Pa.
Goulet, a native of Disreal, Que., scored 26 goals and 48 points in 66 games during his rookie seasons with the Islanders. He was ranked 65th among North American skaters.
Along with Goulet, three other QMJHL players received the invite as well, which were: Bokondji Imama (Baie-Comeau), Philippe Gadoury (Halifax), and Matthew Highmore (Saint John).
