Charlottetown Islanders staffer Kevin Elliot has been selected as the athletic therapist for Team Canada at the World Championships in Prague, Czech Republic.
The tournament begins May 1.
Elliot, of Charlottetown, P.E.I., has experience at the international level as previously representing Team Canada at the World Juniors, Spengler Cup and World Championships. This will be Elliot's sixth time representing Team Canada.
Canada opens the preliminary round May 1 against Latvia at 11:15 a.m. AST. Canada plays seven preliminary games before the playoff round.
