Former Rocket Walker joins ECHL's Ontario Reign

 Former P.E.I. Rocket forward Geoff Walker has signed with the ECHL's Ontario Reign for the 2014-15 season.

Walker had previously played for the Reign from 2008 to 2010 scoring 28 goals and 71 points in 94 games. Walker was last with the Florida Everblades of the ECHL scoring six goals and nine points in six games.

The 26-year-old Charlottetown, P.E.I. native spent two and a half seasons with the Rocket from 2005 to 2008. In 169 games, Walker amassed 83 goals, 113 points and 206 penalty minutes.

After his QMJHL career, Walker has played in the ECHL with Ontario and Florida and in the AHL with Manchester Monarchs, Wilkes-Barre Scranton Penguins, Lake Erie Monsters and Syracuse Crunch.

In August, Walker had a tryout with the Iserlohn Roosters of the DEL in Germany.
