Brassard, 19, posted a 7-21 record with the Islanders posting a 3.56 goals against average and a 0.901 save percentage. He was a 2012 invite by Gatineau back in 2012.
With the 55th overall selection, the Islanders selected goalie Luke House of the Western Kings of the Newfoundland Major Midget Hockey League.
