Nine players were released to their respective clubs by the Charlottetown Islanders on Thursday.
Charlottetown released the players from training camp following its final inter-squad game.
The players released are:

T.J. Shea, F
Mathieu Rego, D
Ryan Gillam, D
Curtis Scales, F
Jesse Annear, D
Zack Thususka, F
Hunter McIntyre, F
There is currently 40 players remaining in camp: five goaltenders, 13 defencemen and 21 forwards. Updated training camp roster can be found here.
The Islanders are in Acadie-Bathurst tonight for a pre-season battle against the Titan at 7 p.m. On Saturday, the Islanders return home for a 4 p.m. pre-season tilt against the Saint John Sea Dogs.
