Ex-Rocket to attend Nashville Predators development camp

 Former P.E.I. Rocket defenceman Jimmy Oligny will attend the Nashville Predators' development camp.

The camp begins today and runs until Saturday, July 12.

Oligny, was only a member of the Charlottetown Islanders during the name change before he was traded in July, 2013 to the Rimouski Oceanic.

The Rocket drafted Oligny seventh overall in 2009. Oligny played four seasons with the Rocket scoring 22 goals, 65 assists for 87 points in 241 career games.

Last season with the Oceanic, the St-Michel, Que. native scored seven goals and 36 ponits in 61 games while adding another three goals and eight points in 10 playoff games.

Oligny joins fellow QMJHLers Frederick Gaudreau (Drummondville), Felix Girard (Baie-Comeau) and Tommy Veilleux (Victoriaville) at the development camp.
