The Charlottetown Islanders will unveil its 2014-15 roster on Saturday, Aug. 30 during the Islanders Street Hockey Jamboree.
The event will take place on Kent St., between Prince St. and University Ave., from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The event is open to boys and girls aged 11 and under. Each team will consist of four players and will be guaranteed four games in the rain or shine event. Every player will receive player package including a t-shirt and game tickets.
Registration will be closed on Aug. 22 at 4 p.m. Teams can call the Islanders office at (902) 894-7349 or email admin@charlottetownislanders.com . Event participation will run on a first come, first serve basis. The maximum number of players will be 120. Registration will close once that number is reached.
Games will be played 4-on-4 plus a Charlottetown Islanders player or coach serving as goaltender. Participants are responsible for bringing their own equipment, including sneakers, hockey stick, gloves and helmet. Additional protective gear is optional, but recommended.
A barbeque, First Aid and water station will be available throughout the day along with face painting and That Fun Place. Player autographs and a photo booth will be set up to pose with Islanders players. Event partners AVIS, Newcap Radio, Source For Sports and the City of Charlottetown will be on site during the event.

Ages 6 & 7
Ages 8 & 9
Ages 10 & 11
Following the ball hockey event will be the official introduction of the 2014-15 Charlottetown Islanders on the Main Stage on Kent St.
