It was a high tempo game, said Alcalde.
“All the boys are trying to get spots so everyone is going 100 per cent. I like the way I’ve been playing and everyone else is playing pretty well.”
Alcalde doesn’t want to think he’s on the outside looking in to make this year’s team but said he always has to work hard.
“With the type of player I am, no matter what I’m always going to be on the outside. I think I have myself penciled in right now and I hope it stays that way.”

Alcalde made it a 4-1 game with a wrist shot beating goalie Grant Grady. Samuel Jutras cut the lead to 4-2 for Team Black.
Alcalde thanks training throughout the Summer for his wrist shot.
“I’ve always had a good shot. It's time and space now. I guess I'm more comfortable as a 19-year-old."
