Alexandre Goulet has been released from the Montreal Canadiens' rookie camp and will return to the Charlottetown Islanders tomorrow.

The Charlottetown Islanders tweeted the news this afternoon.

The 18-year-old Disreali, Que., native went undrafted at the 2014 NHL Entry Draft but was invited to both Montreal's development and rookie camps.

Goulet will be in the lineup this weekend when the Islanders play back-to-back games in Cape Breton against the Screaming Eagles on Friday and Saturday.

With Goulet's return, the Islanders now have four skaters and one goaltender at NHL rookie camps. Ryan MacKinnon, Ross Johnston, Mike DiPaolo, Oliver Cooper and Mason McDonald are still with their respective NHL rookie camps.
