Both the Charlottetown Islanders and Saint John Sea Dogs wrap up their exhibition schedule tonight at the Eastlink Centre.
The Sea Dogs are coming off a 4-3 win over the Islanders last night at Harbour Station, in a game which saw the Islanders take an early 2-0 lead.
Charlottetown is 2-3-0-0 in pre-season, while the Sea Dogs are 3-1-0-1.
The Islanders have been led by Kameron Kielly in pre-season scoring with four goals and seven points in just three games. Daniel Sprong isn't too far behind with three goals and six assists in three games.
In between the pipes, the Islanders have Mason McDonald and Daryl MacCallum. McDonald has only played 69:20 and has allowed three goals for a 2.60 goals against average and a 0.930 save percentage. MacCallum, who played in Saint John last night, has played 131:37 and has allowed nine goals for a 4.10 goals against average and a 0.916 save percentage.
Saint John is led by Samuel Dove-McFalls with two goals and four points in three games. Mathieu Joseph also has four points in three games with a goal and three assists.
Goaltender Sebastien Auger has seen 120 minutes of action and sports a 1.50 goals against average and a 0.944 save percentage. Four other goalies have seen pre-season action.
These two teams will meet again on Friday Sept. 12, for the Islanders' season-home opener.
