The Charlottetown Islanders begin a tough three-in-three tonight in Gatineau with their first road trip through Quebec this season.
Charlottetown will be looking to snap a three-game losing streak while the Olympiques will be looking to pick up a point in its fifth-straight game.
Former Islanders forward Alexis Pepin will play against his old team for the first time since being traded on trade deadline day last season. Pepin has four goals and seven points in eight games with Gatineau this season.
Gatineau just got a lot stronger in net as they recently acquired 20-year-old netminder Brandon Whitney from the Victoriaville Tigres yesterday. He was named the QMJHL's third star of the week.
Mitchell Balmas and Samuel Guilbault will be out for Charlottetown as they finish up the World Under-17's in Sarnia, Ont. Ross Johnston will also be out for at least another week.
