Sprong ranked 18th by ISS for November

Charlottetown Islanders forward Daniel Sprong is the highest ranked Quebec Major Junior Hockey League skater in International Scouting Service's Top 30 Draft Rankings for November, for the upcoming 2015 NHL Entry Draft.

The 17-year-old, second-year winger is ranked 18th in a list released on Tuesday. He is one of five QMJHL players among the list.

Evgeny Svechnikov (Cape Breton) is ranked No. 19, Nicolas Roy (Chicoutimi) is ranked No. 23, defenceman Jeremy Roy (Sherbrooke) is ranked No. 27 and goaltender Callum Booth (Quebec) is ranked No. 2 goalie.

Sprong, originally born in Amsterdam, has nine goals and 19 points in 20 games this year for the Islanders.

Connor McDavid of the Erie Otters (OHL) is ranked No. 1.
